TEFILLAH
At its essence, a synagogue is a makom tefillah—a place of prayer. We place great emphasis on the prayer experience and are committed to making our synagogue a place for Jews to have a deep and meaningful religious encounter—challenging the mind, stirring the heart, and lifting the soul. We offer tefillah opportunities to meet a range of needs across our kehillah.
- Minyan three times daily, 365 days a year
- Women’s Tefillah services
- Teen/youth minyan
- Periodic exploratory service, and PrayLab, a focused, contemplative service
- Visiting baal tefillah program
- Musical tefillah on special Hallel days and a pre-slichot kumzitz
- Shabbat Hashkamah minyan in coordination with the Young Israel of White Plains (held at HIWP on the 2nd and 4th Shabbatot of the month, and at Young Israel on the 1st and 3rd Shabbatot)
