YOUTH PROGRAM & SCOUTS
V'Higadeta L'Vinchah…And You Shall Teach Your Children. We pride ourselves on our fun, dynamic youth and teen programming, and our warm, energetic program leadership. We strive to promote an ever-deepening connection to Judaism in our children, as well as social consciousness and an appreciation of the importance of engaging in chessed.
- Shabbat and holiday morning groups for children, which include Torah games, age-appropriate tefillah, and supervised play for the youngest children
- Teen minyan on a monthly basis
- Youth Shabbat twice yearly, in which our teens and college-aged children lead the full service in the main sanctuary
- Holiday themed programming throughout the year, including crafts events
- Annual Purim carnival
- Chessed events focused on the Jewish and broader communities
- Social events such as apple picking and ice skating
- Learning programs, including a Tikkun Leil Shavuot teen track
- Hosts of Westchester’s Jewish Scout Troop 613
